I can’t see the wine that I want?
We can source most wines available in Ireland and give you the best price possible. Take a look at our sister site, thewineshop.ie and select a wine from there. Email us at email@example.com with your request and we’ll try our very best to get you your wine.
How do you select your wines?
We attend nearly every wine tasting in Dublin, tasting and judging wines from all around the world. We judge the wines on their quality rather than their cost. Our wines have made this list on their own merits and we stand over every wine. We believe that all of our wines, regardless of price, are exceptional quality.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 1 hamper.
How much is delivery?
We only ask you to pay a €5 contribution towards the delivery of your hamper, for orders up to €195. For orders greater than €195, delivery is FREE. Delivery is limited to Ireland at present.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Our hampers contain items at mixed rates of VAT which is already included in the price on the website.
How is delivery made?
We will use a reputable courier service to deliver your wine and therefore ask you to supply a contact phone number and a delivery address where there will be someone there to accept delivery. Delivery will generally be within 2 - 4 working days.
What about the vintages of your wines?
We will always deliver the current vintage available. If the website specifically states a vintage, then this will be the vintage delivered to you. If that vintage is not available, we will contact you to discuss an alternative. If you have any questions about the vintage of a wine you have purchased please do not hesitate to contact us.
What happens if a product is Out-of-Stock?
We will notify you of any delay to your order and if a major item is going to be out of stock for more than a couple of days, we will contact you to offer you an alternative wine of equal or higher price at no extra cost to yourself. We reserve the right to substitute food items of an equal or greater value, at no extra cost to yourselves.
What packaging will you use?
We will try to be as ‘green’ as possible and will re-use boxes as much as we can when it comes to smaller products. Generally, hampers will be packed in a new cardboard box to protect them during delivery. Our supplier of new packaging uses recycled and recyclable materials and is committed to sustainable production techniques.
What if the hamper is damaged when it arrives?
This is rare and we hope it doesn’t! If your hamper does not arrive in a reasonable condition, please notify us as soon as possible. We will arrange to pick-up the hamper and rectify the problem at our expense. If your hamper is visibly damaged, please refuse to take delivery and request that it be returned to us. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Can I collect my own hamper?
Yes, we can make an arrangement for you to collect if you wish. Please contact us to make an arrangement.
Can I include a personalised card or gift tag?
Yes. All deliveries will include a free tag that we can write your own personal message in.
Alternatively, you can send us a card or letter for inclusion in the package before it gets delivered.
We can also include a greetings card which we can write your own personal message in. (the cost of the greetings card is €2.50, sometimes included in the hamper) If you require a greetings card, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
Can I have my package gift wrapped?
Our hampers are cellophane wrapped and are delivered in outer packaging to protect them. If you have other requests, please e-mail us and we’ll be happy to help. (email@example.com)
